Master Italian artisan Stefano Roselli designed the New Bern commemorative charger as a high-quality keepsake for New Bern’s 300th Anniversary with elements that reflect New Bern’s long and colorful history. The rope on the outer edge ties into New Bern’s history as a leading port and boat building center, the Greek key edging represents historic architectural details found in the many Georgian and Greek Revival buildings, the City’s crest/coat of arms and the beautiful New Bern skyline and waves represent the City’s location at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers.
