Baxter Street Clock Restoration Swiss Bear spearheaded a fundraising campaign in 1987, and coordinated the restoration of the 1920 four-faced Baxter Street Clock severely damaged in 1977. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the timepiece is now a public landmark.

NC Main Street 30th Anniversary Conference and Banquet - Work with the state Main Street staff developing a 3-day conference and banquet that will be held in New Bern, January 2010. The anniversary conference celebrates the state’s Main Street Program, which began in 1980. New Bern was one of the first five cities to participate in the Program.
 
Swiss Bear’s 30th Anniversary Celebration - Volunteer to work on the 30th Anniversary Committee to organize and plan the celebration to be held in the spring of 2010.

F-11 Grumann Aircraft - Help raise funds to restore and relocate the F-11 Grumann aircraft located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to a more prominent location. The aircraft was dedicated to the City in 1973 by Major General Paul Fontana, Commander of MCAS Cherry Point in recognition of the close relationship between the City and MCAS Cherry Point.
 
Fundraising Campaign - Assist in the development of strategies and campaigns to raise funds for Swiss Bear projects
